KBEC-00248 - Agent Memory configuration

Summary

4.2.1 and above agent running out of memory

As per the release notes, the default Agent memory configuration is the following, set in the <commander>/conf/agent/wrapper.conf

# Initial Java Heap Size (in mb)
wrapper.java.initmemory=16
# Maximum Java Heap Size (in mb)
wrapper.java.maxmemory=64

If you are running a heavily used agent (such as agents sharing the same host as a web server or a repository server, please increase this setting to

# Initial Java Heap Size (in mb)
wrapper.java.initmemory=256
# Maximum Java Heap Size (in mb)
wrapper.java.maxmemory=512

Make sure to restart the agent service once you have made the changes to the wrapper.conf file.
